Morphine sulfate (adult dose)
IV/IO/IM-1.0 to 4.0 mg increments over 1 to 5 minutes
Verapamil (adult dose)
IV/IO- 2.5 mg over 2 minutes, may repeat dose 5.0 to 10 mg in 15 to 30 minutes. MAX DOSE-30 mg
oxytocin (adult dose)
Infusion-10 to 20 U in 1,000 mL NS or LR
IM- 10 U
calcium gluconate 2.5% topical gel (adult dose)
If possible, patient should wash affected area and massage the gel into the skin
proparacaine ophthalmic solution 0.5% (adult dose)
1 to 2 drops
pralidoxime chloride (2-Pam) (adult dose)
Auto injector- 600 mg
May repeat after 15 minutes
tetracaine (adult dose)
1 to 2 drops
Lactated ringers solution (description)
Water, sodium chloride, sodium lactate, potassium chloride, calcium chloride. PH-6.6
5% dextrose in water (description)
Water, dextrose. PH-4.3
0.9% Sodium Chloride Solution (description)
Water , Sodium chloride. PH-5.6
Phenylephrine nasal spray 0.5% (adult dose)
1-2 sprays
Nitrous oxide 50% (adult dose)
Self administered and self-regulated inhalation by the patient
Ipratropium bromide (adult dose)
500 mcg (0.5 mg) in 2.5 mL normal saline (unit dose) via SVN or inline SVN
May repeat dose
Racemic epinephrine (adult dose)
Nebulize- Dilute 5.0 mL (1%) in 5.0 mL normal saline
vasopressin (adult dose)
Cardiac arrest IV/IO- 40 U administered once
Cardiac arrest ET- 40 U in 10 mL normal saline
dexamethasone (adult dose)
IV/IO-8.0 to 24 mg
Acetaminophen/APAP (adult dose)
Oral-325 to 1000 mg every 4 to 6 hours
MAX DOSE- 4.0 g daily
Ibuprofen (adult dose)
Oral- 400 to 800 mg every 6 to 8 hours
Naloxone (adult dose)
IV/IO- 2.0 mg, may repeat every 2 minutes
ET- 4.0 mg diluted in 10 mL normal saline
IN- 1.0 mg sprayed in each nostril, may repeat every 2 minutes
Magnesium sulfate (adult dose)
Torsades infusion- 1.0 to 2.0 gm in 50 to 100 mL over 5 minutes, may repeat dose 1.0 to 2.0 gm over 1 hour
Pre-term labor/pre-eclampsia/eclampsia infusion- 3.0 to 6.0 gm in 100 mL over 10 to 20 minutes, may repeat initial dose
Maintenance infusion- 1.0 to 4.0 gm/hour
Reactive airway conditions- 2.0 gm in 50 mL over 5 to 10 minutes
Cardiac arrest IV/IO- 1.0 to 2.0 gm over 1 to 2 minutes
Calcium gluconate (adult dose)
Hyperkalemia IV/IO- 1.0 gm
may repeat dose
