- Personification of ‘wore’ - like this is what defines the house

- Again secrecy, ‘barring’ the truth from being known outside of the laboratory

Windows = mystery so if one of them is opened, the mystery is beginning to be solved

- Lexical field of security (excellent lock and strong) - why does the laboratory need this? Door = preventing the mystery from being solved
