Any incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between those over 16 who are or have partners or family members. This can involve psychological, physical, sexual, financial, or emotional abuse
What is a marac?
Multi agency conference to help safeguard adult victims and help address behaviour of perpetrators
What does a DVPN do?
Provide emergency protection and must be heared in court within 48 hours
What does a DVPO do?
Police apply at court for a DVPO can be extended to 14 to 28 days
Which rank needs to authorise a DVPN?
Superintendent or above
