We believe that repentance towards God, faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit are necessary to salvation.

Moving from Sin
but this not of man. Man can state that he needs to change, but, in regards to our sinfulness, we cannot achieve this on our own. God has taken action, in advance, by speaking and acting for our salvation.

Moving towards Grace
with His help, we seek to leave behind our sins and sinful life (darkness) and moving towards Him (light) - Colossians 1:13
What does repentance include?

What is godly sorrow?
Our sins have been against God (Psalm 51:4)

Recognizing the failure of sin

What is some evidence of a saved life?

Justification
is the act of God for which changes the relationship between ourselves and him.

Declared ‘not guilty’
Deserve condemnation as sinners
Receive an acquittal
Receive and acquittal
Sentence fulfilled at the cross (atonement is the gift of grace)
We accept by faith Jesus’ substitution - in our place
