SE: N&V, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, lactic acidosis

CI: tissue hypoxia (e.g. MI, sepsis), AKI/CKD, GA

STOP: pre-op (48h), iodine-contrast, renal failure (eGFR <36 or Cr >150)
