Divine revelation is one rleigious beilef of CAtholics. Divine revelation is the continuing and dynamic process by which God communicates personally with human beings. The gradual revelation is recorded throughout scripture.
salvation history
Catholic believe that Salvation history can be described as the pattern of specific events in human history in which God clearly reveals his presence and saving actions. Salvation was accomplished once and for all through Jesus Christ, a truth foreshadowed and revealed throughout the Old Testament. Salvation history began at the dawn of the universe and continued throughout all the events of the Old Testament

It culminated in the life, death and Resurrection of Jesus. Divine revelation is most significant in the story of creation, sinai covenant found with the prophet Moses and the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus
adam and eve
shows how God is a forgiving God and offers salvation. to show God’s love and to give a sign of things to come, “the Lord God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins, and clothed them.” (Genesis 3:21). This slain animal was to represent future sacrifices and forgiveness by God. God made clothes for Adam and Eve from the animal which shows God covering their sins with a substitutionary sacrifice. this story of Adam and Eve teaches Catholics today how God cares about mankind and he is a forgiving God and offers salvation
moses
reinforces the catholic belief of gods divine revelation through salvation history. how god established his relationship with his chosen people. He did this through the mosaic covenant. The mosaic convent was an agreement with God and between God and the people of Israel. “ I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people” (Jer. 31:31-34). God’s covenant with Moses marked the third period in salvation history centered around the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, the covenant is outlined in the book of exodus. The Ten Commandments are the foundation of the covenant, but they are not the entirety of it. the commandments help shape the catholic beliefs in todays world. impacts today as it shows that god will always be merciful gracious and forgiving.

The catholic belief in divine revelation is explored through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus ChrisGod sent his son to earth to re-establish the relationship lost with humans through sin, this was God’s ultimate self-revelation. “Do not think I have come to abolish the law or prophets. I have not come to abolish but to fulfil” (Matthew 5:17). When Jesus, the word of God, walked among humans, he clarified the relationship between the Scripture of the Old Covenant and himself as the beginning of a new covenant, the new revelation of God in his only Son. The New Covenant is the promise that God makes with mankind that He will forgive sin and restore communion with those whose hearts believe in His Son, Jesus Christ. Catholic belief in divine revelation is explored through the life, death and resurrection of Christ , which shows His power and overarching reign on Earth.
conclusion
Catholics develop a deeper understanding of their God though his revelations in salvation history. through the Biblical stories Catholics can see His (God) capabilities and strengths. in the story of adam and eve god reveals how God is forgiving and offers salvation. in the story of Moses he reveals he will always be there for his people. God’s ultimate revelation is illustrated through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ by reestablishing the lost relationship with human beings. these events demonstrate to Catholics how to develop and be in a relationship with God. through salvation history the Catholic belief in Divine Revelation allows Catholics to see their God as forgiving, merciful and everlasting.
