Co-amoxiclav 625mg TDS for 5 days, then review
Cefalexin 500 mg (BD/TDS) + Metronidazole (400 mg TDS)

High fibre diet
Bulk-forming laxatives
Paracetamol (abdominal pain)
Antispasmodic, e.g. mebeverine (cramps)
