What is the typical presentation of diverticulitis? (Any 3)
A
Pain in LIF
Fever
Diarrhoea
Nausea and vomiting
Rectal bleeding
Palpable abdominal mass (if there is an abscess)
Raised inflammatory markers like CRP and WBC

What is the primary care management of diverticulitis? (4)
A
Oral co-amoxiclav
Analgesia (not NSAIDS and opiates if possible)
Only taking clear liquids
Follow up in 2 days
