Preconceived opinion or feeling about a person or group, usually negative, that is not based on reason or actual experience. (Emotional or Attitudinal)
Prejudice
Oversimplified and fixed idea or belief about a group of people, often leading to assumptions about individuals. (Cognitive or Belief-Based)
Stereotype
The tendency to favor one group over another, often leading to unfair treatment or assumptions based on preconceived notions or stereotypes.
Bias
Conscious attitudes and beliefs we hold, where we are aware of our preferences.
Explicit Bias
Unconscious attitudes or stereotypes that affect out understanding and actions, where our subconscious influences our decisions.
Implicit Bias
Unfair treatment or assumptions made about individuals based on their gender.
Gender Bias
Unfair treatment or attitudes directed towards individuals based on their race or ethnicity.
