A button pressed on the platform which tells the signaller that the conductor and driver are ready 2mins before departure time
What does the Station Work complete signal mean, what is it and when is it given?
Given by the dispatcher to conductor by raising a white baton, light or raised arm, means the dispatch corridor is clear of passengers and obstructions.

Train Safety Check meaning?
Before giving the ready to start signal to the driver, you must check
All doors are closed properly
All hazard lights are unlit
Nobody/thing is trapped in the doors
Nobody is in contact with the train
A dispatcher will show a white baton, light or raised arm
Where must you never dispatch a train from?
The front end of the train
What can the ready to start signal be to the driver?
2 buzz on the door button
Green flag raised
Green light
What do we do if the train has a defective buzzer?
Inform maintenance control
Reach clear understanding with the driver on how you be dispatching the train e.g Use green flag/light
