Generally well tolerated. Maybe complaints of abdominal pain and early satiety. Is easily palpable on physical examination

Enlargement of the spleen. Increase filtering and sequestering capacity, Lowering the number of circulating blood cells

Treatment of Splenomegaly
A
Splenectomy maybe indicated for evaluation or treatment. Maybe also performed for ruptures
