- decreased urine concentration
- reduced GFR
- hyerchloremic metabolic acidosis

- Stop analgesics
- volume repletion

- Tx symptoms- rupture, pain, infection of kidneys
- Increased hydration
- Tx HTN, low protein diet

- Ischemia: prolonged hypoTN, shock, sepsis
- Nephrotoxin- aminoglycosides, contrast media, hemo/ myogloinuria
