Where is acute external otitis?
It is disease of outer ear canal.
What is the etiology and presentation of acute external otitis? Treatment? What can happen in immunocompromised patients? Which bacteria requires debridement and oral antibiotics?
It is due to bacterial or fungal infection. Cleaning the ear and using antimicrobial drops with cortisone.
Osteomyelitis can happen in individuals that don’t take proper precautions.

It is caused by reduced ear wax production, causes dermatitis and dryness of external ear.

It is the fungal infection of the ear canal, and it is caused by MC candidiasis and also by aspergillosis

it is when the tympanic membrane is perforated. When there is water infiltration, prescribe oral antibiotics.
What is otitis media with effusion?
It is when there is basically a unilateral middle ear effusion, eustachian tube dysfunction.
