What happened in Key Scene 1?
A
- The director decided to place English soldiers in the stalls near the audience to resemble the trench with no man’s land on the stage and Joey caught in barbed wire on centre stage.
- The German soldiers were also in the stalls, but they were on the opposite side to the English.

What happened in Key Scene 2?
A
- Albert and the other soldiers started walking on the sport to symbolise they were moving through no man’s land.
- They increased their pace whilst still moving on the sport and on the screen, they showed a moving image of hundreds of soldiers moving behind them.

What impact did this have in Key Scene 1?
A
- It placed the opposing sides at the same level therefore they are the same status.
- Showed the two very split sides to the war.

What impact did this have in Key Scene 2?
A
- The increased pace in movement showed the stress and panic of the soldiers.
- The screen helped show chaos of war.
