Q

Tips to identify them?

A

The direct object can be compound and separated by the conjunctions and, or, nor. These compound DOs share a V/VP and both answer the Who/what question.

A sentence can have multiple direct objects since they have different V/VP.

ALWAYS PRECEDE THE SUBJECT. CANNOT BE WITHIN PREPOSITIONAL PHRASES.
