What is Diminished Responsibility?
A
An unbalanced mental state that is considered to make a person less answerable for a crime on the grounds for reduced charge ,but doesnt classify them as insane.

A
Defendant must have an abnormality of mental functioning (that the reasonable man would recognise abnormal)

A
The abnormality must arise from recognised medical condition.
