How do you do an oxygen mask mic test?
-Flight deck interphone to MIC
-Speaker ON
-TEST/RESET switch push and hold, EMERGENCY TEST switch push and hold
-Push the PTT switch and listen for the sound of O2 flowing
-Release everything and turn the speaker off
How do you do an oxygen pressure drop test?
-Note O2 PSI
-Push and hold the TEST/RESET switch- verify yellow cross momentary flow indication
-EMERGENCY/TEST switch, press and hold-very yellow cross stays continuously
-Hold both switches for 10 seconds
-Release, verify no yellow indication, and pressure did not decrease rapidly or by more than 100 PSI
What does the smoke evacuation handle do? Is it effective when unpressurized?
-It opens the flight deck smoke evacuation port
-It is only effective when pressurized (Will NOT work when unpressurized.)
