- Signs/symptoms include LVF, RVF, arrhythmias, raised JVP, displaced apex, S3 gallop, low BP, MR and TR.

- CXR
- Cardiomegaly
- Pulmonary oedema
- ECG
- T wave inversion
- Poor progression
- ECHO
- Globally dilated
- Hypokinetic heart
- Reduced EF
