What is the liver?
A five chambered large organ that creates bile and is the site for converting glucose to glycogen and vice versa

A non-digestive organ that stores blood

The first part of the small intestine, which receives juices from the pancreas

The last place waste goes before it exits through the anus

The baby-corn like organ that creates and secretes digestive enzymes
What is the esophagus?
The organ that transports food from the pharynx to the stomach
What is the gallbladder?
The organ that stores bile and secretes bile to the duodenum
What is pepsin?
The enzyme secreted in the stomach that digests proteins
What is the pharynx?
Between the mouth and the esophagus
What is the large intestine?
The organ responsible for water reabsorption and production of vitamins K and B12
What is the small intestine?
The organ that digests carbohydrates, fats, and proteins
Where do the juices from the pancreas go?
The duodenum

Has many blood vessels
