Dietary Disorders(Overweight + Obesity) Flashcards
What is energy balance
When our ‘energy balance’ is even, our energy input and energy output are equal. This is important because when we ‘burn off’ all the calories that we consume, our weight is likely to remain the same. However, if we consume more calories than we ‘burn off’ then we are likely to put on weight. Vice Versa we would lose weight.
