what does a vitamin D deficiency lead to and how does it affect the body?
rickets
softens and weakens the bones

what is atherosclerosis?
a condition where the arteries become narrowed and hardened due to a buildup of plaque around the artery wall
What are some causes and symptoms of atherosclerosis?
causes: high blood pressure, high levels of cholesterol smoking, high levels of sugar in the blood
symptoms: difficulty breathing, headache, chest pain, weakness
