Stept and MSSA - dicloxacillin, Augmentin, clindamycin, cephalexin; CA-MRSA - doxycycline, Bactrim
Diabetic Foot Infection Severe Tx MSSA
levofloxacin, cefoxitin, ceftriaxone, Unasyn, ertrapenem;
Diabetic Foot Infection Severe Tx PCN Allergy
Cipro or aztreonam + metronidazole or clindamycin
Diabetic Foot Infection Severe Tx Resistance
MRSA - linezolid, daptomycin, tigecycyline, vanco; Pseudomonas - zosyn, meropenem
Diabetic Foot Infection Tx Duration
Mild-moderate - 1-2 wks; severe - 2-4 wks
