A
- Shoes
- Deformities
- Skin colour and integrity
- Between toes and nails for cuts, fungal infections
- Plantar aspect for ulcers and callus
- Lower limb for ulcers and callus

What is done for circulatory function?
A
- Temerature lower limbs and toes
- Capillary refill time
- Lower limb pulses
- Dorsalis pedis, posterior tibialis, popliteal (femoral if distal not palpable)

What is done for neurological function?
A
- Vibration sense
- Soft touch (big toe)
- Sharp touch (big toe)
- Monofilament test (5 points in random fashion)
- Remember to clean
- Proprioception
- Ankle reflexes

A
- Plantar and dorsalflexion
- Inversion and eversion at mid-tarsal and subtalar joints
- Dorsi and plantarflexion big toe
- Gait

Describe steps of taking blood sugar?
A
- Wash hands and introduction
- Gather epuipment - blood glucose monitor, testing strips, lancet, gauze
- Insert test strip
- Don gloves
- Remove safety clip from lancet and take sample
- Place testing strip into blood
- Give patient tissue and note reading
- Discard waste in correct bins
- Conclude
