A

Type 1; is autoimmune where the immune system attacks insulin, where you have little to no insulin.

Q

Describe a set of symptoms of diabetes (2)

A

increased thirst/dehydration, frequent urine, and sweet-smelling urine.

your kidneys will try to filter the extra glucose and put it in urine, so in response, the body will release more water into urine to dilute it.

Q

Describe a set of symptoms of diabetes (1)

A

fatigue, extreme hunger, and unexplained weight loss.

fatigue; cells are unable to obtain glucose meaning no energy.
