cause of type 1 and type 2
A
type 1 : immune system attacks beta cells in islet of langerhans so they cannot produce enough insulin
type 2: obesity, poor diet means beta cells dont make enough insulin and liver and muscle cells stop responding to insulin

kidneys can’t remove all glucose from urine if not resolved
