How can you consider the major developmental theories (e.g., Vygotsky, Piaget)?
A
Vygotsky = sociocultural/social constructivist because he emphasized the role of culture and community in the development of intellect.
Piaget = epigenetic and cognitive constructivist because (a) growth occur in a series of stages, and (b) new knowledge is constructed on the basis of previous knowledge.
