refers to the incrase of complexity of processes in the brain, such as memory , thought, knowledge

Knowledge, memory, attention, language , thought patterns and problem solving
What is Emotional development?
emotional development refers to experiencing the full range of emotions and being able to understand and properly express them

- building resilience (recovering from misfortune)
- developing self concept
- experiencing the full range of emotions
- learning how to express them
What is Social Development?
increasing complexity of behaviour patterns used in relationships with other people.
