A
- Short Step Length
- High Cadence
- Decreased Velocity
- Not as much extension in the Hip
- Knee doesn’t fully extend
- Very little Ankle movement
- Whole foot is flat on the ground during IC
- no arm swing–> High guard
- Increase walking base
- Decreased amount of time in SLS

What does gait look like by age 2?
A
- Reciprocal Arm Swing is there
- Heel first IC
- Ankle DF in swing phase
- Increased time in SLS (greater stability of limb)
