Knowing : Emphasizes facts, details and data. Seek clear, objective solutions.Focuses on validity, credibility of data. Emphasizes accuracy and precision.
Planning : emphasizes structure, plans and preparation.Seeks agendas, outlines, and processes. Focuses on methods, preparations and follow-up. Emphasizes predictability, rules and routine.
Creating : Emphasizes creativity, risk-taking and innovation. Seeks novelty and ambiguity. Focuses on action, spontaneity, possibilities. Emphasizes interaction, getting many inputs.
Emotional Intelligence.
Emotional intelligence has come to encompass almost everything that is noncognitive- including social, emotional, behavioral, attitudinal and personality factors_ so the extent to which it can be adequately measured and predictive of outcomes remain cloudy.Emotional intelligence refers to the ability to diagnose, understand and manage emotional cues. Emotional competence refers to the noncognitive capabilities and skills_including social skills that affect human functioning. Emotional intelligence then refers to : (1) the ability to diagnose and recognize your own emotions, (2) the ability to control your own emotions, (3) the ability to recognize and diagnose the emotions displayed by others, and (4) the ability to respond appropriately to those emotional cues.
Values
Values are among the most stable and enduring characteristics of individuals. They are the foundation upon which attitudes and personal preferences are formed.they are the basis for crucial decisions, life directions, and personal tastes.They help define our morality and our conceptions of what is “good”. Much of what we are is product of the basis values we have developed throughout our lives.
