How do you destroy solid dosage forms e.g. Tablets and Capsules???
Grind or crush them.
Use small amounts of water which prevents inhalation.
Pour onto CD kit.
How do you destroy liquid dosage forms???
Pour into appropriately sized CD kit
Put kit into waste bin for incineration.
How do you destroy CD Patches and Aerosol???
Patches:
Remove backing and fold patch onto itself and then put in CD kit.
Aerosol:
Expel into, dispose of liquid according to liquid destruction directions.

Liquid Ampoules:
Empty contents in kit and dispose of glass ampoule in sharps bin.
Powder ampoules:
Add water to dissolve powder and pour into kit.
