Animals are able to see each other if they wish

What are the disadvantages of a single barrack design?
The type of bed used can be limited by the often long and narrow sleeping area
What is a double barrack design?
Similar to a single barrack design
Pens are placed on both sides of the central service corridor rather than just on one
What is a circular design?
Pens radiate around a small round central service area
What are the advantages of a circular design?
Ideal for viewing for the public
Staff are able to see more animals from the same position
Animals are able to see each other if they wish to
What are the disadvantages of a circular design?
Can be noisy
Round building leaves wasted ground
Maximum size of each pen is limited
