How to derive centripetal acceleration
A
Draw triangle between two points , radius is r and velocities are different
2) if you draw a velocity triangle, with same mangeitufes, the line in between is the change of velocity, and the angle is the same, as they jus rotated by 90° both of the, as theta
3) the arc lentgh, when theta very small, is practically straight, and thus = ti change if velocity x time
Now you have two isosceles triangles, can use radian formula or even similar triangle formula to work out that change in velocity by change of time = v2/r
And thus v = w2x
