What is this lesion?
Describe its characteristic and tx.
Occult sarcoid.
Hyperpigmentation.
Location: lateral aspect of shoulder.
Variable growth rate; if slow over a few years leave it alone. Biopsy can cause progression.

Define its characteristics.
Verrucous Sarcoid.
‘Wart-like’ appearance, also pedunculated nodular sarcoid in picture on right.
What lesion is this? Characteristics?
Fibroblastic sarcoid.
Large ulcerative sarcoid on a penduncle.
Outside is necrotic tissue.
What lesion is this? Treatment?
Fibroblastic Sarcoids.
Back of pastern and is continually being traumatise.
Treatment required.
- Anaesthetise
- Remove proud flesh
- Plus with normal skin
- Send for biopsy
What are the lesions shown in these images.
Location: Periocular sarcoids.
Left image: mixed verrocous / nodular sarcoid. Lower eyelid is close to ulcerating.
Right: Fibroblastic sarcoid at the advanced stage.
Where is this sarcoid located?
Inside of mouth - secondary to trauma from bitt.
Ddx: Squamous Cell Carcinomas also occur in the mouth.
Names this lesion.
Nodular Sarcoid.
Can be single of multiple.
Nodule on the far right is in the early stages of ulceration.
Name and describe this lesion.
Primary or secondary?
Disease example.
Excoriation. Secondary lesion.
Self-induced erosions and ulcers cause by rubbing, biting and scratching.
Indicates pruritis.
Disease example: Pediculosis
