A

Put emollients on first, wait 30 mins then put on steriods

Steroids in eczema

A

Mild - hydrocortisone

moderate - betamethasone 0.025%, clobestasone butyrate 0.05%

Potent - fluticasone 0.05%
betamethasone 0.1%

Clobestasol propionate 0.05%

1 finger tip = 0.5g

Psoriasis managment

A

Regular emollients
1st line - topical steroids + vitamin D analogue daily up to 4 weeks
2nd - vit D analogue twice daily
3rd - potent topical steroid twice daily or coal tar twice daily
- Short acting dithranol can be used
