Cellulitis pathophysiology
A
Cellulitis is infection of the skin and underlying tissues, mainly causes by staphylococcus AUREUS. The infection enters the skin through a break in the skin caused by trauma or eczema.

Erythema Warm/hot Tense/thickened Oedematous Bullae - golden crust characteristic in staph A infection.

Eron classification - used to assess severity of cellulitis
Class 1 - not systemically unwell
Class 2 - systemically unwell
Class 3 - significantly systemically unwell
Class 4 - sepsis
