What is it?
A
A very common, button-like nodule

Where do they occur?
A
On the extremities

Who do they affect?
A
Usually female adults

What causes them
A
Has an unknown cause, and can regress spontaneously

What does examination show? (4)
A
Tender, papular/nodular, firm dermal button on palpation, skin coloured/tanned/pink

What is the treatment?
A
Cryosurgery, (surgical removal often leaves a scar that is less acceptable than the original lesion)
