Tumor depth: Breslow level

ELBOWS: some papules, itchy blisters + GI issues
Tx: avoid gluten
What is the clinical presentation of T.E.N.
tender erythematous plaques, dusky appearance (necrotic), erosions in other areas

Lesions on palms (pink scaly plaques) and lymphadenopathy
What is a complication of dermatomyositis? Who gets this?
Malignancy - need full body CT/MRI to look for cancer (not common complication in kids)
What is the clinical presentation of BCC?
pearly papule, rolled borders, bleeds easily
What non-melanoma skin cancer has the highest rate of metastases?
SCC > BCC
SCC especially when it happens in wounds (ie burns)
BCC doesn’t metastasize, even superficial (Bowen’s disease)
What is the cell involved in initial sensitization in allergic contact dermatitis?
Langerhans cell (APC in skin)
How do you prevent ABx resistance in acne patients treated with one ABx
Add benzoyl peroxide!!
What cytokines are involved in the atopic dermatitis pathway
IL4, IL13
What drug is best for widespread atopic dermatitis uncontrolled by topical agents?
Dupilimab (against IL-4 - blocks IL-4 and IL-13)

Oval salmon-colored thin macules that spread from an initial larger patch (herald patch)
Course: possible reactivation of HHV6/7, do nothing - will self-resolve in 3-8 weeks (mild topical steroid if itchy)
