A
  • Localised impetigo can be treated with topical fusidic acid
  • In severe/ significant impetigo oral antibiotic is flucloxacillin

Management of necrotising fasciitis?

A
  • Patient needs admitted to ITU and treated with high dose IV antibiotics (micro should be done to determine the causative organism)
  • Immediate surgical debridement of necrotic tissue also needs to be done
