The lend lease programme was a scheme introduced in 1941 which provided support to the allies. The US government brought military supplies from US manufacturers to send to countries fighting against germany (UK & USSR)

Increased US economy by increasing production of military supplies like planes, weapons and ships. America did not charge the allie countries for military supplies

It reduced unemployment due to the increase in production of military supplies and employing millions of people in factories which led to wages going up
