What 3 things happened in 1933 with the banks after roosevelt was elected

A

One of FDR’s first act was to restore confidence in the banking industry. Then FDR passed the Emergency banking act which was when governments supervised weaker banks. After this, a law was passed made banks take a step to protect people’s deposit.

Politicians thought that the new deal didnt go far enough as they wanted to tax rich people and give every family $2000 a year. However Republicans thought that it went too far by taxing the rich too much and spending too much money
