Q

Formation of a drumlin

A

A glacier meets resistant rock/moraine and can’t erode so moves over the rock and as it passes over begins to smooth back down
•Formed of till
•Commonly formed in groups (swarm)
•1km long, 500m wide and 50m high
•Stoss the steeper end
can also be formed by fluvioglacial
