Director of Photography (DoP) or just (DP)

What does a Line Producer do?
A Line Producer acts as a liaison between the Producer and the set. They’re constantly “on the line” with the Producer.
What does a Production Manager do?
Takes control of the budget of the film.
What does the Director of Photography do?
The D.P. works closely with the Director to determine the look of the film and where to place the camera. The D.P. then chooses lenses and camera settings and decides where the lights should be.
When set pieces or props need to be moved, who’s responsible for carrying this out?
Grip Department (do most of the heavy lifting on set)

In early apprenticeships, the ‘Best Boy’ was the master craftsman’s most experienced apprentice, with more responsibilities than other apprentices.

What does the Script Supervisor do?
The Script Supervisor is the protector of the continuity of the screenplay. Makes sure that anything used in the previous take is exactly the same in the next take (hair, makeup, clothing, props, movement, time)

The Gaffer designs the lighting plot and chooses the right equipment for each shot, based on the
1) environment 2) camera angles 3) desired effect 4) available ambient lighting
