Assistant Director (A.D.)
The Assistant Directors are the on-set managers. They handle the day-to-day scheduling, as well as oversee all crew members in executing the plan.
1st Assistant Director (A.D)
The first A.D. runs on-set operations and scheduling.
2nd Assistant Director (A.D.)
The 2nd A.D. manages paperwork and scheduling actors.
2nd 2nd Assistant Director (A.D.)
The 2nd 2nd A.D. organizes background actors and production assistants.
Production Assistants (P.A.)
The P.A. is an “entry level” position; helps with any task that the A.D.’s assign, including “lock up” traffic, signing in Extras, or picking up trash.
Production Office
The base of operations for logistics, communication and paperwork. Typically, a Production Office is established in the pre-production phase and continues until at least lost-production.
