What is a DOOD Report?
Day-Out-of-Days is a report/chart that marks actors’ work days to keep producers on board with where their money is going.
What does, ‘SW’ stand for?
Start Work: denotes actor’s first day of working on set.
What does, ‘W’ stand for?
W stands for Work: actor is in the midst of an acting job.
What does ‘WF’ stand for?
“Work Finish”: actor’s last day on the job.
What does “SWF” stand for?
Start Work Finish: actor is a day player and will work for just that day.
What does “H” stand for?
Hold: actor is not being used that day but is still being paid.
What does, “I” stand for?
Idle: actor is not being used that day and is not being paid for that day.
What does, ‘R’ stand for?
Rehearsal: it means the actor is called in to rehearse that day. Will be working but not shooting.
What does ‘WD’ stand for?
Work Drop: means the actor is working, then after this day the actor enters a period of more than seven day’s not working on the production. The actor will return at some point in the future on the production, but that point will be more than seven days from now.
What does, ‘PW’ stand for?
Pickup Work: When an actor comes back from seven or more day hiatus.
What does, ‘SR’ stand for?
Start Rehearsal: when an actor is rehearsing and it’s his/her first day.
