A
- There is a decline in birth rate
Due to: - Changes in positions/attitudes of women (genderquake)
- Changes to family structure (the nuclear family has decreased, legalisation of homosexuality, etc)
- Children are no longer an economic asset (used to send children to work for extra income, child labour laws, child benefits and well-paying jobs)
- Changes to popular religious beliefs

A
- Baby boom
- Women are having larger families
- Consequences of policies to reduce child poverty
- Fertility rates stabilised and increased
- Neo-liberal policy (leaving decisions to families)

- 43% of UK’s population growth over next 25 years will be as a result of migration
- As of 2019, the non-uk born population was 9.4 million which is around 14% of the population

A
- Low in 1900 because many children didn’t live beyond their first few years
- 8% of UK’s GDP is spent on providing pensions
- Females live longer than males (different attitudes and lifestyles)
- People in the south live longer than people in the north (more working class people live up north)
- Middle class live longer than working class (more money and culture)

- People are living healthier lifestyles
