What is the common agricultural policy?
The CAP is one of the main strategies set up by the EU. It is basically a system that gives some farmers in some EU countries subsidies to help them survive.
What is the common fisheries policy? CFP
This policy sets quotas for the amount of fish that the EU countries can catch. This was created to manage fish stocks. The EU fishing industry is the fourth largest in the world
What do the Scottish people say is wrong with the CFP?
The scottish fishing industry has been in decline for many years, they say that this is the fault of the CFP. They claim that they set unreasonable limits about how many fish they can catch and the amount of days they can be out on sea for. They say that the rules are not evenly spread out across the EU.
What benefits does the Uk gain by people of the EU being able to move around countries without a passport?
It allows job vaccanices to be filled, allowing economic growth to be sustained and more taxes to be paid out to the government.
How has free movement led to some concerns with people?
that immigration has led to pressures on things such as school and hospitals.
What is advantages of the euro?
Travel within Europe easier. no need to change money, hassle.

Disadvantages of the euro?
One of the reasons why the UK opted out of the euro is because the UK would lose freedom to decide on its own interest rates.
