The scientific, economic and effective utilization of men, money, materials, time and space to accomplish the goals of foodservice organization, primarily centered on the production and service of quality meals to satisfy intended clientele.
Foodservice Management
Refers to the number of direct reports a manager supervises. It essentially defines the scope of a manager’s responsibility in terms of the people they directly oversee.

It is the specialization of groups in an organization, which may be based on product, function, clients, location, or work process.
