Consists of 3 DL (nose tackle & 2 DE’s) and 4 LB’s and features a one or two gap responsibility for the DL

Identified by the alignment of the interior lineman; to the run strong side, indicated by where the TE is lined up, you see a 3 technique; paired with the 3 Technique is a DE who is lined up as a 6 technique or a 7/9 technique

Consists of four DL & 3 LB’s that shifts the strength of the DL and the 3 technique DT to the open side of the offensive formation; typically used against offensive personnel that utilizes TE’s and/or FB
