2
Q

steps to operationalise

A
  1. constructs: you have important terms you need to understand
  2. indicators: the aspects of the constructs that reflect the relevant parts of the construct for your study
  3. variables: indicators with a measurement unit
  4. instruments: which tools are needed, procedures to calibrate, tools to measure

3
Q

measurement scales of variables

A

nominal: different values, no order
ordinal: ordered values, no equal values in between
interval: ordered values with equal intervals, no natural 0
ratio: ordered values with equal intervals and a natural 0
