an individual’s grief over a deceased person that is a socially ambigious loss that can’t be openly morned or supported.

loss-oriented stressors-focus on the deceases individual in positive (no longer suffering) and negative (thinking about the deceased)
restoration-oriented stressor-schanging of identity (wife to widow)
